Stop in or contact us to apply for and receive disability beach parking passes or purchase gift certificates. You can also find information on our Naturalist Programs, seasonal hiring and lifeguard certifications. In addition to park areas that can be reserved, there are many sites that are available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis and do not have to be rented. We want everyone to enjoy our state beaches. Free state beach parking passes are available for disabled Rhode Island residents who meet certain requirements under Rhode Island State Law. Individuals must provide a current-year benefit verification letter verifying that they are collecting disability benefits with the Social Security Administration or a letter from the Veteran’s Administration stating that they are disabled due to a service-connected injury. These passes are available exclusively at RI State Parks Headquarters, located at 1100 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown Monday-Friday, from 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM.
