Goddard Memorial State Golf Course

Enjoy a round of golf at the only state-run course in Rhode Island at beautiful Goddard Memorial State Park.

Opened in 1939, the 9-hole golf course at the Goddard Memorial State Park features 3,021 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 40.0 and it has a slope rating of 90.

Rates

ALL ON-SITE PAYMENTS MUST BE EXACT CHANGE IN CASH or CREDIT CARD. A 3% convenience fee will be assessed on credit card payments.

Weekdays: $15	Seniors/Juniors: $10 (Seniors: age 65 and over / Juniors: age 12 or younger)
Weekends: $20	Seniors/Juniors: $12 (Seniors: age 65 and over / Juniors: age 12 or younger)

Disability or RIPAE with documentation: $0 (golf carts are regular price)

Hours And Tee Times

The golf course is open 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM (weather and staffing dependent), seven days a week, starting Saturday, April 1, 2024. The last walking tee time is at 2:30 and the last cart rental is at 12:00 PM.

NO WALK-INS. All tee times must be scheduled in advance (up to 2 days in advance) by calling 401-884-9834. Phone calls will be accepted starting 7:00 AM. If you get a busy signal, please call back.

Tee times will be available in 10-minute intervals between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM (weather and staffing dependent), with a maximum of four people per tee time. You must provide the names of all people sharing your tee time. You must arrive within 10 minutes of your start time to avoid forfeiting your tee time.

If you have fewer than four people in a tee time, you will likely share your tee time with other patrons.

First tee time is 7:30 AM. Last tee time is 2:00 PM (weather and staffing dependent). The last cart rental is at 12:00 PM.

No Shows: If you are unable to keep your tee time, please call 401-884-9834 as soon as possible to cancel. No shows prevent others from having the opportunity to play golf.

Cart Rentals

Carts are available on a first come, first served basis for $15/cart. You may not reserve a cart over the phone. We recommend early tee times if you cannot golf without a cart.

You must fill out a liability waiver and provide a valid driver’s license to rent a cart.

Cart rentals are only available to patrons 18 and older.

Last cart rental is 12:00 PM.
