Built in 1873 by the renowned Newport architect George Champlin Mason & Sons, the historic Eisenhower House has witnessed 150 years of American history. This beautiful house served as President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s “Summer White House” in 1958 and 1960, was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, and was deeded into the Rhode Island State Parks system in 1965. Today this stately mansion commands breathtaking views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay and serves as an event space specializing in weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions, and so much more.

December is the perfect time to visit this historic and beautiful house to learn about its history, check out the holiday decorations, and view the grounds of the event space.
