Location: Fort Adams State Park Visitor Center

"Trek the Parks with a Touch of History"

Join RI State Park Rangers for a guided walk at one of the state parks on Aquidneck Island.  The hour to two hour long walks will get you moving and you will see sites connected to the American Revolution, Gilded Age, Presidential vacation homes, and geological anomalies.

The walks are free to attend and participate.  Please dress in comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring plenty to drink and sunscreen.  Well behaved dogs on a 6’ leash are always welcome.  Meet at 10am at the Fort Adams State Park Visitor Center.  Ranger led walks will occur rain or shine.

Walking the perimeter of the park, we will enjoy outstanding views of Newport and Narragansett Bay, following the Bay View Trail.
