State of Rhode Island, Rhode Island State Parks ,

Date:

Location: Beavertail State Park - Parking Lot 1

Join us for a short guided hike focused on pollinators and the local wildflowers and plants they sustain. Beavertail State Park hosts extensive habitats for migrating birds and pollinators and is an important stop along the monarch butterfly migration route.

We will be taking photos of and identifying different pollinators to add to RI Fish & Wildlife’s INaturalist Pollinator Project, a community science project designed to help monitor pollinator populations across our state. Join us for the last day of summer at Beavertail while we observe and revere the beautiful creatures that keep our park green and flowering!

Please meet at Parking Lot 1.  Hike begins at 12:30pm.

Event Type: Featured Naturalist Program
