DEM to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed 2024-25 and 2025-26 Hunting, Trapping, Freshwater Fishing, Falconry, and Wildlife Rehabilitation and Control Regulations Published on Monday, May 06, 2024 PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is announcing that its Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) will hold a public hearing on proposed regulations relating to the 2024-25 and 2025-26 hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits, the 2025-26 freshwater fishing regulations, wildlife rehabilitation rules and regulations, falconry regulations, and nuisance wildlife control regulations.
